found our PPFO to be particularly well suited as a wire and cable filler, and its enthusiastic acceptance has confirmed its promise of exceptional utility.

What makes foamed polypropylene particularly well suited as a wire and cable filler:

High dielectric strength makes it an excellent insulator (~600 v/mil) Relatively inert; resistant to most chemicals and solvents Round shape easier to process Non-hygroscopic; does not absorb or hold moisture Low density; light in weight and provides high yield per pound Its strength contributes to the strength of the cable Non wicking and rot resistant

* Also available in softer grades of copolymer (CPF, CPFO) and polypropylene (PEF, PEFO), and an economical ultra low density (PPULD) where structural air is employed as a filler, but strength is not required.
