Creating Solutions That Work For You
Nylon

Nylon monofilaments are well suited for many applications including webbing, netting, screening, hose and tube reinforcement, and string and line applications. Typical characteristics include higher working temperatures, strength, roundness, good bend recovery and abrasion resistance.

6/6R
Unmodified nylon, a good general purpose monofilament. Able to withstand high temperatures and very strong, it also has excellent shape retention qualities which makes it ideal for narrow fabrics and textiles, as well as a variety of other uses.

6/6S
Similar to the 6/6R, this grade has been modified for greater softness when stiffness is undesirable, such as in our invisible sewing thread.

T6
While T6 has many of the same characteristics of the 6/6 grades, it offers less stiffness, a 65°F lower melting point and higher moisture absorption. This general purpose, lower-cost nylon is well suited for a variety of applications, including netting.

T6S
This is a softened grade of T6. Used for fishing line and other applications requiring high flexibility.

Other nylons are available upon request.
